Sirens and flashing lights filled the Eastlake High School parking lot the morning of May 31. It was only a drill. Juniors and seniors quietly watched a sobering demonstration of what can happen because of drunk driving or distracted driving.
Lake Washington School District is located between Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, to the east of Seattle. Covering 76 square miles, LWSD is the public school district for the cities of Kirkland and Redmond, as well as about half of Sammamish. On the north end of the district, some Bothell and Woodinville residents also attend our schools.
The map below gives an overview of school locations and boundaries. For more specific information about what school your child will attend and printable boundary maps for individual schools, see the Attendance Areas page.
The interactive district map is no longer available. We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it. To search for the school your child(ren) will attend, please use the School Assignment & Bus Finder.
