Dr. Jon Holmen

Dr. Holmen serves as Chief Executive Officer, providing strategic vision, leadership, and direction to the district. He is accountable for student and organizational outcomes though the fulfillment of Board established End Results and Executive Limitations Policies. He serves as the Board’s link to the operational organization, assuming authority and responsibility for development and implementation of overall district strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives, and assumes accountability for staff performance, resource management, community and parent involvement, organizational operations and district culture.

Scott Beebe

Scott Beebe | Deputy Superintendent
Student, School and Instructional Services

Mr. Beebe serves as Chief Success Officer, overseeing the district’s multi-tiered system of support for students. He provides vision, leadership, and direction, assuming responsibility for success of the departments of Teaching and Learning; Elementary and Secondary Schools; and Technology in accomplishing strategic goals developing a connected and tiered support system for students. This position assists the superintendent in achieving district objectives and key performance indicators, assuring alignment with law, policy, and priorities established by the Board of Directors.

 

Matt Gillingham

Mr. Gillingham provides vision, leadership, and direction, assuming responsibility for success of the departments of Student Service; Opportunity, Equity and Inclusion; Risk, Health, Safety and Security; Special Services; Talent Strategy and Communications. Mr. Gillingham assists the superintendent in achieving district objectives and key performance indicators, assuring alignment with law, policy, and priorities established by the Board of Directors.

 

Dale Cote

School Support Services

Mr. Cote serves as the Associate Superintendent of School Support Services. In this role, Mr. Cote works directly with the Elementary and Secondary Directors of Education, Director of Data, Research and Accountability, and the Director of Athletics and Activities. Together their work is to support students, families, and staff in creating a high-quality learning and extracurricular experience for students. The School Support Services Division collaborates across divisions to develop and implement our district strategic goals and objectives. Mr. Cote also oversees our Choice School programs.

Barbara Posthumus

Barbara Posthumus | Associate Superintendent

Ms. Posthumus serves as Chief Financial Officer, providing oversight of the district’s financial, business, and related auxiliary services. She ensures the district’s overall financial integrity and stability, assuming leadership in the development and administration of annual and multi-year budgets. She provides leadership and direction to the department of Support Services, ensuring efficacy of capital resources and investments and support for accomplishment of strategic goals. Ms. Posthumus assists the superintendent in achieving district objectives and key performance indicators, assuring alignment with law, policy, and priorities established by the Board of Directors.

 

Dr. Jen Rose

Dr. Rose holds the position of Chief Academic Officer, responsible for overseeing the district’s multi-tiered system of support for students. Her role involves providing leadership and direction to various departments, including Professional Learning, Elementary Teaching and Learning, Secondary Teaching and Learning, and Multilingual Learners, to achieve strategic objectives. In her capacity, Dr. Rose facilitates collaboration across divisions to provide resources and guidance to building leaders and teachers to ensure the use of student-centered, inclusive and high-quality instructional practices that lead to high levels of achievement for all students. Her role is focused on assisting the superintendent in achieving district objectives and key performance indicators while maintaining alignment with legal requirements, policies, procedures and board-established priorities. 

 

Dr. Joy Ross

Talent Strategy and Communications

Dr. Ross provides vision, leadership and direction and is responsible for the success of the departments of Human Resources (Talent Strategy) and Communications. She assists the superintendent in achieving district objectives and key performance indicators, assuring alignment with law, policy, and priorities established by the Board of Directors. Through the divisions of Talent Strategy and Communications, Dr. Ross is committed to fostering a culture and climate that is focused on equitable and strategic processes and promoting innovative systems that elevate effective Human Resources and Communication practices.
