LWSD bus driver puts students first during smoke scare

Wade Minor, Lake Washington School District bus driver, acted quickly when smoke appeared in the back of the bus. Minor was transporting approx. 20 students when a mechanical issue forced him to pull over the afternoon of Sept. 6.

    Mr. Miller provides overall leadership for the district’s support services, overseeing capital planning, construction, and real estate, ensuring school facilities operate optimally to support students and staff. He assumes responsibility for the development, integration, and implementation of the district’s capital facility plan and policies aligned with district goals and objectives. Mr. Miller assumes responsibility for construction; maintenance; repair and operations; security; environmental issues; resource conservation management; and risk, health and safety services.
