Community Engagement

Community Engagement

We believe that strong communities build strong schools, and strong schools build strong communities.

Here are some of the initiatives for 2020-21 in the area of Community Engagement:

  • Partnered with organizations such as Nourishing Networks, Eastside Pathways and others to coordinate community supports during the pandemic
  • Contributed weekly to communications sent to families by Noticas en Español to provide communication to Spanish-speaking families
  • In addition, the Communications Department created a “Language Access Resources” webpage. This page shares information for families about the types of translation and interpreter services we provide, and who to contact if you need support.
