Replacement of Existing School Technology and Capital Projects Levy

Proposition 2

Proposition 2

Replacement of existing School Technology and Capital Projects Levy
We want to ensure our students have access to technology for learning and safe school facilities.

  • The Replacement School Technology and Capital Projects Levy funds critical technology and facility needs not funded by the state.
  • The levy is on a four-year replacement cycle.
  • The February 10, 2026 levy replaces an expiring levy previously approved by our community in 2022.

Funding from this levy continues our investment in the district’s technology program. It funds technology training and development programs for staff to support innovative learning in the classroom and ensures students have the technology skills they need for their next step, whether that’s a two- or four-year college, a technical certification or joining the work force.

Technology needs

To facilitate innovation in the classroom, the district supports more than 35,000 student and school computers and a private fiber network for wired and wireless connectivity across our district’s 76 square mile footprint.

Educational software programs can supplement learning by giving students who need extra help another way to learn. Classroom technology enables teachers to enhance classroom learning and students to develop technology skills and responsible digital use.

This levy provides funding to update computers, renew software licenses, maintain network infrastructure and protect student data.
