By donating a book to the Wilder Library for your child’s birthday, you can both support our library and create a tribute to your child that will last for years to come!
How To Participate:
Click
and pay online. Or, send the form and check, payable to Wilder PTSA, to school.
IMPORTANT: Be sure that you and/or your child pick out the book anytime before your child’s birth month! Our librarian, Mr. Simmons, has an assortment of appealing books that would enhance our library. You are encouraged to select from these books, or, if you prefer a specific title, let Mr. Simmons know at least one month before the birth date so he can place an order for your child. Ideal times to pick out a book are just before or after school, or you can contact Mr. Simmons to make other arrangements.*
A special bookplate will be permanently placed inside the book stating that it was donated in your child’s honor. During the month of your child’s birthday (or half birthday for summer birthdays), the book will be presented during his/her library time, and the birthday child will be the first student to check out the book.
* Questions or Clarifications? Contact Natasha Nesbitt (natashanes@yahoo.com), or Mr. Simmons (GSimmons@lwsd.org ).
Donating to the Wilder Library is a wonderful way to honor a teacher, family member, or the memory of a loved one as well.
