Math Adventures is a PTSA sponsored program offering math enrichment to students in small groups during the school day in K-6 classrooms. It is a program designed to help student expand their mathematical thinking and to promote the idea that Math is Fun! Students work with math manipulatives, learn & play math games, practice logical thinking, and challenge themselves in problem-solving. We encourage students to think as mathematicians and develop a love and understanding of mathematics beyond arithmetic. The Math Adventures program was developed by parent volunteers at Wilder, and we continue to expand and modify the activity choices. Math Adventures continues to nurture a math culture at Wilder where students look forward to their next adventures in mathematics.
NOTE: All Math Adventures documents have been moved to the new Wilder PTSA website.
