All WANIC classes are “for credit”. Per state law all high school classes must be on the student’s transcript.  Students cannot have more than one absence in Summer Skills Academy.  This is a 90 hour class which is equal to a one semester class.  If a student misses one day, that equals 6.5 days in a semester. If a student misses two days, that equals 13 days in a semester which exceeds attendance requirements.  If a student misses more than one day, the student will receive an “NC” on their high school transcript.
If you are anticipating missing more than one class, please consider not taking the class.  We have students who are waitlisted and will be able to meet attendance requirements.

Summer Academy applicants do not need to conduct a site visit or attend an information session. If your student is currently in 8th or 9th grade in middle or junior high please register using your local high school and list their current school in the comments area.
Registration fee due by 6/15/15 – fee is nonrefundable. Class availability subject to enrollment.  Students earn .5 HS Credit.  Summer Flyer and Summer Course Catalog
