Volunteers Need for Spring
BBQ
Sparrow Club is hosting a Spring
BBQ on May 31st to raise funds for Logan & Caleb. We looking for a
volunteers to chair the following sub-committees for this event: Food,
Decorations, Activities and Procurement. If you are interested please
contact Shannon Kruger at skruger@skruger.net.
If you would like to work on one of these committees please let me know
and I'll pass that information onto the chairs. Thank you!

Are you
passionate about school communication? Are you detail oriented? Do you want to
build better skills for communication, leadership, state of the art newsletter
tools? Are you looking for an opportunity to test the water of getting involved
with the school minus the risk of being swamped with huge responsibilities?
Requirement: You
need to be available to contribute during the next school year
(2013-14). Typically you need to spend one hour on Monday eve or Tuesday
morning every other week.

obligation to sign up) meeting with Shauna (shauna@thesternfamily.net) or
Sharmin ((sharmin_banu@hotmail.com).
Mentoring
will be provided till you feel confident.
2013-14 Fall Event Committee Leaders Needed
Dance Marathon 2013 Chair—Plan and execute one of the biggest
fundraisers of the year!
Wellness Team—many opportunities to fit your schedule to bring
fitness and nutrition to our school
PTSA Membership Chair — 1 or 2 people to coordinate the
tracking of Sandburg/DCS PTSA memberships for the 2013-14 school year. This position is school year commitment and
can be shared with another parent. The
majority of the volunteers hours take place in September and October. November thru June the remaining tasks are
minimal. The majority of the voluneteer
hours can be done at home.
2013-14 Reflections Art
Competition Chair Needed
The
theme for next year's Reflections art competition will be "Believe, Dream,
Inspire." We are looking for a chairperson for next year. This year's
fantastic chairperson, Jodie Masiwchuk is willing to offer pointers and tips on
how to best manage the competition. If interested, please contact either Setty
