Lake Washington Schools Foundation
The mission of the LWSF is to raise money to support academic excellence and success for all students in the Lake Washington School District.

The Foundation differs from school PTSAs that support individual schools; the efforts of the Foundation are district-wide and seek to address some of the programs that have been diminished or eliminated by lack of funds. The Foundation is pleased to partner with PTSAs in a shared vision of supporting education. Check out the current flyer at www.lwsf.org.
 

The Foundation continues to grow thanks to the generous support of the community. With the support received in 2011, 105 elementary students were able to attend summer school that might not otherwise have been able to attend; over $83,000 in grants was awarded directly to schools for the 2011-2012 school year; and nearly $15,000 is going into the Access fund to help students in financial need with academic secondary school expenses. Finally, the Foundation continues to support LINKS, a mentoring program that matches caring adults with students.
