Principal Message
I want to welcome you to Rosa Parks Elementary School.

Our school's mission statement - "Academic Rigor, The Arts, Laughter & Joy" is alive in our school each day. We work with children to do their personal best on each assignment. We infuse the arts into the academic program in ways that enhance the learning of all children. And we believe that schools should be warm and welcoming, kind and caring, fun and exciting places for kids, teachers, parents and anyone else who walks through the door!

Come take a look. And, please, tell us what you think.
Principal | Jeff Newport

King was born on January 15, 1929 and gained national prominence during the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The boycott began when Rosa Parks, a 42 year old seamstress, refused to give up her seat to a white man on December 1, 1955.
