Program Details
We’re excited to offer a terrific after-school art program at Rosa Parks! We’ll explore the world of art using a variety of media including pencil, watercolor, acrylics, oil pastels, collage and more! You will love our wonderful and original works of art! Classes run October through May.
Two classes are available for grades 1-3 3:05-4:05 pm or 5:15-6:15 pm
One class is available for grades 4-6 4:10-5:10 pm
Cost is $415 for the year, including supplies, due before class starts.
We meet on Thursdays. The first semester: Oct-Jan. Second semester: Feb-May (you are registered for both semesters unless you give advance notice in December).
Class size is limited to 18 artists.

Instructor Background
I’m Stephanie Allgood. I have a BA in Art, a MA in Education, and teaching certificate. My experience includes a home-based preschool and kindergarten enrichment program. I’ve been a classroom art docent, taught art at a private school, and classes for homeschoolers. I currently teach art after school at Alcott, Dickinson, and Rosa Parks.
Janis Smith will assist at Rosa Parks. She is an experienced and talented artist with a college background in interior design, graphics, and fine art. We both look forward to sharing our love of art with your artists!
