Birthday Books is a way to donate a book to the Rosa Parks Library in honor of a child's birthday. Parents complete this form along with $20 suggested donation to the PTSA, and the birthday student gets to choose a new book from the selections available in the library office.
Prior to the student's birthday a note will be sent reminding him to go to the library to pick out his new book. The book will have a bookplate in the front announcing it was donated to the library in honor of his birthday. The book will be presented to him during his library class time. The honoree will be the first one to check the book out. When the book is returned, it becomes a library book at Rosa Parks Elementary!
