Having just graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA with a B.A. in History and earning my Teacher Certification in the Spokane schools, I am excited to join the Rosa Parks community and return home to Redmond!  I attended Horace Mann, Redmond Junior High, and Redmond High School. 

I am one of four children having an older sister, Samantha, an older brother Jonathan, and a twin sister Mackenzie (we look nothing alike!)  I also have an eleven year old labrador retriever, Shamme who is my best buddy. 

 I have always loved the outdoors and sports having played soccer, softball, running cross country and track both on school teams and club teams.  I love to play games especially board games.  My favorite place to vacation is Black Butte Ranch near Sisters, Oregon where my family loves to go bike riding, play tennis/golf, swimming, and horseback riding.  I am passionate about history and traveling and love to combine the two when I can.  During college, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for six weeks falling in love with its culture and people.  I have also been to England, Scotland, Germany, Mexico, and Canada.  In the future I hope to travel to many more places I have read about in college. 

I am looking forward to being a member of a learning community which encourages teamwork and a love of learning with an integrated curriculum!
