Jim Anderson returns for year number six at Rosa Parks and joins the third grade team after teaching 4th grade since the school opened. Mr. Anderson's B.A. (1978) is from the UW in Business. He worked in the private sector prior to deciding to return to college life, where he earned a Master's Degree in Teaching.
Mr. Anderson is still crazy about his wife Anne and his four children. Hamilton James graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, PA in 2009. Molly graduated from Lake Washington High School and is a freshman at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. 10th grade Ben is at the International Community School. 6th grade Sara commutes with Mr. A. in order to attend Rosa Parks.
In his spare time Mr. Anderson enjoys cycling, skiing, tennis, and reading. He spends a lot of time coaching soccer and lacrosse. He also enjoys sailing aboard the Jaco, his 33’ sloop (sailboat), and playing the bass with the Offenders
He feels that kids learn best in an atmosphere where the learning is interactive, meaningful, and fun.
