Sue Myers is the librarian at Rosa Parks Elementary. She has taught grades 3-6th in the Bellevue and Lake Washington districts before becoming a teacher librarian. She and her husband Martin are native Washingtonians, growing up on the sunny side of the state. They have three grown children. Two live in other states, and they don't see them often enough. They have one darling grandson and now a beautiful granddaughter.
Outside of school, Mrs. Myers loves to read. She also enjoys card making, growing flowers, and visiting with their large extended family. And don't forget traveling! Someday she would like to say she has been in all 50 states, but she has several more to go.
Mrs. Myers is a Cougar first and then a Husky. She graduated in Education from Washington State University. She also has her Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of Washington.
