 Primary Sources at RHS

 
 
~RHS Catalog will find primary sources.  Search in the RHS catalog for “primary source” or “primary document”.  Type in your keyword + primary source.  Example  “civil war primary source”.
 
~WebPath Express will find primary sources.  Click on “WebPath” on the left, type in primary sources, or primary sources and keyword.
 
~We have many books that specifically identify primary sources.  Examples of book: Speeches in World History 808.85 MCI, Daily Life through World History in Primary Documents 909 MOR
 
~RHS Databases offer primary sources (World History Online & History Study Center)
 
~Look in magazines, including the databases eLibrary and ProQuest and narrow down the dates to the time of the event to bring up firsthand accounts.  We have digital subscriptions to magazines, including TIME Digital (use at home).  See password bookmarker in the library for access.
