The Career Resource Center is a full service center for all students.  Resources with the Career Center cover a wide range of interests and needs from career exploration to college planning and employment.  Students and parents are encouraged to take advantage of the resources and opportunities that are available to them. 

The Career Center is open from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 

 

 

 

 

  • College Visit
    The college/university representative will share important information regarding the admission process and programs which are unique to each school.
  • Employment Opportunities
    Throughout the year local businesses contact the Career Center and advertise part time positions for qualified high school students. Some past positions offered have been in retail, restuarants, office work, grocery stores and the park department.
  • Scholarship Bulletin
    The following is a list of current scholarships available to all RHS students based on the scholarship eligibility and criteria. Remember to check the scholarship bulletin often as the list changes regularly.

  • WaNIC - ( Formally known as NEVAC )
    The Washington Network For Innovative Careers offers over 30 advanced skills programs with state-of-art technologies and employment preparation. By taking these classes, students have an opportunity to investigate career areas of interest while in high school. Classes are open to juniors and seniors with counselor approval.
  • Tech Prep College Connections
    The Tech Prep programs offers college-equivalent courses to qualified students who are interested in a variety of professional and technical careers. Students can explore career options while still in high school and earn dual college/high school credit without leaving the high school campus.
  • Career Cruising
    This career guidance system offers occupational profiles and post secondary educational information. RHS students will use this program to complete their graduation portfolios. Contact the Career Center or your homeroom teacher for the user name and password. (Spanish version available on this site)
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook
    This is a reference of occupations from A-Z published by the Department of Labor.
