Welcome to Rose Hill Junior High!

If you will be new to our school for the 2009-2010 school year, please call to make an appointment prior to Friday, June 12, 2009. This is the last day you would be able to register AND meet with a counselor to discuss classes.  After this date, registration forms will be available to fill out in our Counseling office which will remain open until Friday, June 26^th.  If you would like to register over the summer months when our office is closed, you can go to the LWSD Resource Center located at 16250 NE 74^th ST. Redmond, WA 98052.  We will be back in the office on Tuesday, August 18^th to receive calls for registration appointments.

Students new to the Lake Washington School District and/or new to Rose Hill Junior High will need to call for an appointment to register for school.  Please call Kristi Parnell, our Registrar/Counseling Secretary at 425-881-2079 to set up the appointment.  We have two counselors.  Mr. Terry Thompson meets with students whose last names begin with A-J, and Mrs. Lynn Hamilton meets with students whose last names begin with K-Z.

We will need you to bring the following items with you to your appointment:

1. Immunization Records

2. Withdrawal grades

3. Most current copies of student's grades

4. Most current copy of student's standardized test scores (WASL or State-directed)

5. If you student is on an IEP or 504 plan, please let us know when making your appointment.

On the day of your appointment, you will complete our registration forms and your student will have an opportunity to review our course catalog.  You and your student will then meet with their counselor to learn more about Rose Hill Jr., choose elective classes and answer any questions you might have.
