Parent Access
Parent Access is another tool to help parents stay informed and engaged with their students' education. It allows parents to view their students' attendance and grades as well as to add money to a students' lunch account.

Late or Absent
Please call the Northstar attendance phone number at 425.936.1760 ext. 5 if your student will be late or absent from school. (If your child is taking a high school class, you will also need to call the high school attendance line at 425.936.1701.) Parents who value regular attendance and punctuality send the message to their children that school is important. The School campus is open at 7 a.m. and many students arrive early to talk to teachers or socialize with fellow students.

Bad Weather Days
The LWSD Web Site and the home page of every school in the district has an alert system that will reveal a bright red square with information whenever you go to the home page during an emergency. The alert will allow the district to provide more complete information on the home page and will immediately draw attention to itself. The decision to start late or to close is made around 5 a.m., and posted by 5:30 a.m. A recording is also left on the main district telephone number, 425.936.1200. If there is an emergency situation specific to Northstar during school hours and you are instructed to pick your child(ren) up, please bring your photo I.D. and be prepared to follow direction from emergency personnel.
