Eighth and ninth grade Northstar students are allowed to take classes at the high school provided:
- The class is not offered at Northstar
- The student has an 85% or better in all of his/her classes at Northstar
- The student has demonstrated responsible behavior
Northstar students may take advantage of this opportunity only on a space available basis with priority being given to 9th graders. The only exception to this being restricted to 8th and 9th grade students is the math program. If a 7th grader enters Northstar excelling in math, he may be allowed to continue at the high school.
