We would like to introduce ourselves as your Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) co-Presidents, Karyn Taggart and Liz Johanson.  We are excited with the opportunity to serve you and our school.

Karen and I have been putting together some goals for helping make our school successful: 

àWe want you involved!  We have such a powerful community of parents, grandparents and relatives who can provide their knowledge, experience and time.  Please consider one of the many opportunities to get involved by contacting us with e-mail provided below.

àWith your help we can create and/or enhance activities at our school.  Some examples: an all school math night, reading events or a board game night.  These are just some ideas for events that can be significant in enhancing your child’s education. 

àWe embrace the many cultures represented at John Muir and look forward to sponsoring events that involve learning about and celebrating the diversity that makes John Muir a unique school community.
