A Little Nugget About the Budget!
We know there are many different ways families support John Muir.   Donating items. Writing grants.  Volunteering your time. Purchasing catalog items.  Giving cash.  Corporate matching.  Signing up for the shoppers card programs.
Thank you!

Our PTSA Budget for 2011-12 is about $17,000.  More than $10,000 of this in the form of cash grants that go directly to John Muir school, staff, and departments.  
This is about $70 per family.  Please see the list below for various ways you can help us reach this goal.

New School Projects
Buy a brick, a bench, or a metal leaf on a tree sculpture for installation at the new school. 
Buy a tile to have your child make a handprint for a tile wall.

"Free Money" Programs - shoppers cards, labels, etc...
Send these links to friends and family - even those out of town!  They can register their Safeway, Macy's, Target, Fred Meyer, and other cards so that John Muir gets the money.   No clipping or saving labels.  They just shop!

 

Target
Register your Target REDcard.  Thru the Take Charge of Education program, they contribute 1% of every purchase at Target or Target.com to our school.  This amounts to hundreds of dollars every year for John Muir!

Just go to www.target.com/tcoe and designate John Muir as the school for your REDcard.  Tell your friends and family!  Anyone, anywhere can designate our school for their REDcard purchases!

This is Safeway’s Give Back to Schools Program.  Just register your Safeway card and designate John Muir Elementary PTSA as the recipient.  Also look at your grocery receipts for additional ways to donate.
