What is a Lunch Buddy program? It’s a way for adults in the community to help local elementary students succeed.
For one hour per week, a mentor is a student’s craft companion, checker opponent, and recess partner. They eat lunch, play games, and just talk. They are a confidante, a friend, and a buddy.
A teacher, staff member, parent, principal, or counselor recommends students for the program who would benefit from positive recognition and additional individual attention from a caring adult.

"One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of car I drove; what kind of house I lived in; how much money I had in my bank account, or what my clothes looked like, but the world will be a better place because I was important in the life of a child."
