Reader's Workshop
"In a reader's workshop the teacher begins by presenting a mini-lesson on a reading skill or concept. Students are then given uninterrupted time to read their various texts. Afterward students respond to what they have read in a reader response journal or reading log."

Rosetta Stone
"Rosetta Stone® is built on a series of common, easily recognizable images found in everyday situations, which enables young children immediately to immerse themselves into the program and progress quickly. With Rosetta Stone, students can work independently and teachers can concentrate on the personal instruction and interactive classroom activities that promote fluency."

Writer's Workshop
"Writer's Workshop is the term most commonly used to describe the process of children choosing their own topics, writing, revising, editing, and publishing.  In Writer's Workshop, we try to simulate as closely as possible an atmosphere where real writers write and to help children see themselves as 'real authors'."
