It is an honor to teach at John Muir and a privilege to be part of this wonderful community.  I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Psychology and a M.Ed in Special Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.  I have taught in the LWSD since 1980.  I have taught children from newborns to age 13 but most of my experience is in the primary grades.

I live in Seattle, on Capital Hill, with my husband, John.  Our children, Annie and David, are grown and we are proud of the fine adults they have become.  I am enjoying the role of Great Aunt to my little nieces and nephews and I love spending time with my boxers, Jake and Remi, gardening and quilting.
