Margaret Mead Elementary is located in Sammamish, Washington, which is in King County and in the region commonly referred to as the Eastside.
Margaret Mead Elementary is part of the
Lake Washington School District
(LWSD). LWSD is the public school district for the cities of Kirkland, Redmond and the north end of Sammamish.
Student enrollment at Margaret Mead Elementary for the 2008-2009 school year is approximately 635 students with three to four classrooms per grade level.
The school colors of the Mead Mustangs are royal blue and white.
School hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday school hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Students from Margaret Mead Elementary feed into Inglewood Junior High and Eastlake High School.
