What is the PTSA?

The PTSA is an advocacy organization whose main interest is to promote the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth in the home, school and community.  It functions on national, state, district and local levels.

What is the Purpose of the PTSA?

The vision of the PTSA is to make every child's potential a reality.  The mission or overall purpose of the PTSA is to provide:

  • a powerful voice for all children
  • a relevant resource for families and communities, and
  • a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child
