Welcome to Mann Elementary! 

My name is Megan Spaulding and I am the principal of this terrific school.  I have been in public education for more than 25 years and have been a para-educator,  general education, special education and gifted teacher in elementary and secondary schools.  I was also the Assistant Principal at Inglewood Junior High School and a Professional Developer for Lake Washington School District.  I have been fortunate to have spent most of my professional career within the Lake Washington School District and I am proud of the work our district has done to serve children and make a difference in their lives.

I truly believe that learning is essential to improving anyone’s life.  That is why I have stayed in education for so many years.  It is a fulfilling and rewarding occupation that has kept me learning and growing over the years.

On a personal note, I am married (my husband is also a public school educational leader) and have 3 children and a dog.  I enjoy reading, snow skiing and boating.  I have a very full life and although I am busy, I am very blessed to have a career and family I love so much.
