Counselors are available to help students with academic planning, post high school planning (careers and education) and personal or social concerns. Students may sign up to meet with their counselor on the appropriate counselor's clipboard located in the Counseling Center
 
In addition to housing the counselors, the Counseling Center also houses the following specialists:  School Psychologist (guidance team referrals, IEP, 504 assessments)

November 28-29 – Thanksgiving Break (Counseling Center closed)
December 2 – Last day to request transcripts and letter of recommendation for college applications due in January
December 4 – Financial Aid Night @ 6:30pm in the PAC
December 20 - Last day to turn in name verification
December 23–Jan 3 – Winter Break (Counseling Center closed)
January 1 – FAFSA available to submit
January 22–24 – First semester finals
January 24 – Last day of first semester
February 13–17 – Mid-Winter Break (Counseling Center closed)
March 18-19 – Reading HSPE
March 20 – Writing HSPE
April 7 - 11 – Spring Break (Counseling Center closed)
May 5–16 – Advance Placement (AP) Exams
May 21 – Senior Project Presentation Day
May 30 – Drop dead date for Completion of Senior Project
May 30 – Drop dead date for Level 5 and outside credit
June 10-12 – Second semester finals
June 13 – Laptop turn in day
June 16 @ 7am – Senior Breakfast in Commons
June 16 @ 8am – Graduation Rehearsal in Gym
June 16 @ 8pm – Graduation at Key Arena
June 17 @ 5:30am – Pick up diploma after senior party

Diplomas will be ordered in early January.  Last opportunity to turn in name verification is December 20th.  Any changes after that date may require you to purchase, at your cost a corrected diploma.
