Washington Occupations Information System (WOIS) - www.wois.org
WOIS provides extensive information on various occupations, educational programs and schools.
The Tech Prep College Connections courses allow students to take a class in high school and earn college credit through a local Community College. They offer many courses for students interested in technical and health careers in such fields as business, engineering, healthcare or in the mechanical, industrial and practical arts.
WaNIC - www.wanic.orgWaNIC (Washington Network for Innovative Careers) allows students to take classes in other schools and districts related to career or technical education. Information & Instruction packets will be available in the College and Career Center. Classes are open to juniors and seniors on a first come basis. Counselor approval is required. A program visit and instructor approval is required prior to final registration.

The Higher Education Book and Directory provides descriptions of all two and four year public and private, non-profit institutions of higher education in Washington State. Detailed profiles of 37 institutions describe admission policies and practices are included. Additionally, Directory information for Washington colleges and high schools are published in this book.
