Work Experience Credit
Receive Credit for Working

Work Credit For Your Student!!!  If your student has completed or is currently enrolled in an Occupational Ed. class, and has a job, they may earn an additional .5 elective credit with an A grade for every 180 hrs. they work during the school year.  They can do this up to 4 times (that’s 2 credits!) during their high school years, that’s a potential of four As towards their GPA!  If your student qualifies, have them contact Mrs. Luckey. Thanks!

Work Experience  is an innovative and highly successful approach to school-to-career. Work Experience allows students who are at least 16 yrs old and working after school to earn high school credit for their work experience.

General Guidelines

  • Students earn .5 credits for a 180 hour paid work experience.  Must be completed during the school year.

  • Work experience should connect with student's career path.
