Donate A Book To The Library In Their Name
Would you like to leave a lasting “Thank You” to someone special? It could be your graduating senior, congratulating them for 12 years of achievement. Or you may want to thank a special teacher or counselor who has had a meaningful impact in their lives. Perhaps you would like to recognize a staff member for their efforts on the school’s behalf. Maybe you would like to thank a coach, or a special program that has particularly impressed you with its effort, influence, or contribution to education.
We have a program, “Donate a Book to the Library—Dedicated to Someone Special,” that will allow you to leave a very useful and lasting “Thank You” to your special person. For a minimum $30.00 contribution, we will purchase a lovely book for the library and include an attractive, permanent dedication plate in the front of the book. It will be a continuing statement of your gratitude—recognizing both your chosen recipient and yourself as the giver of the gift. A letter of recognition and a copy of the dedication plate will also be sent to the person you are honoring.
This is a wonderful way to recognize someone who deserves special notice of a job well done, and it will also help out the students in our school library. Efforts will be made to choose a book reflective of the person being honored.
If you would like to thank someone in this very meaningful way, simply complete the form below and return it with your contribution to the Lake Washington High School Main Office or to the Library.
