Parent/Student August Back to School Information 2012-2013. Getting ready for a great year! 
 

 Welcome to LWHS!

 


Tuesday, September 4: First day of school for 9th & 10th graders
Freshmen:  8:00am–11:00am
Lunch will be offered 11:00–11:30am
Sophomores:  11:30am–2:30pm

8:00 – 11:00am, all 9th graders report to the gym.  We have planned many activities to get our 9th grader students familiar with “The Kang Way.”  Students will spend time with their homeroom teachers and also get their schedules.  They will also complete a modified schedule so they are familiar with where their classes are located.  A regular school lunch will be available from 11:00-11:30am.  All 9th graders are to leave campus at 11:30am.

Wednesday, September 5:  First full day of school for all students: 8:00am–2:31pm
The first day of school, although it is a Wednesday, will be a full day.  There will be no early dismissal.  All students will receive their final schedules so they should plan on arriving by 7:30am.
