Lakeview's DI Team Wins State Tournament!
The 2011 Lakeview Coolcumber Club (Adam C., Amar S., Amy C., Eric G., Laura C. and Malcolm M.) won first place at the statewide Destination ImagiNation Tournament! Their challenge was to create a structure made of wood, foil, and glue and weighing less than 25 grams that would hold as much weight as possible. In addition, they created an eight minute performance about a character who was foiled and were required to integrate a team-written verse and a published verse into their story. The Lakeview Coolcumber Club's structure weighed in at 20 grams and held 625 lbs and didn't break!
