I received my teaching credentials from Seattle Pacific University where I majored in Elementary Family and Consumer Science Education. This past summer I finished my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction through SPU as well. This is my fifth year teaching here at Lakeview!

As an educator, I seek to provide a safe environment where students are challenged academically and provided with rich and innovative social experiences. I also work to instill a love of learning and promote intrinsic motivation.

My husband and I live in Monroe and are expecting the birth of our first child this October. Whenever I have a free moment to myself I love curling up with a good book and a cup of Starbucks coffee! When not with child I also enjoy playing soccer, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and hiking—I should be back to these activities soon!
