I have been teaching at Lakeview for 20 years, 19 of those years have been spent in 6th grade. I obviously love working with 6th graders!

After growing up in Kirkland and graduating from Lake Washington High School, I went to WSU to obtain my teaching degree. Later, I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I'm a big Cougar fan and enjoy the friendly rivalry with the UW fans.

I've been married for 21 years and have two sons ages 16 and 13. They have both come through Lakeview and keep our lives busy with sports. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching my kids and students play sports and being part of such a great Kirkland Community.
