How to register your student at Kamiakin Junior High

 How to Register

Welcome!

Students who are new to Kamiakin Junior High will need to schedule an appointment to register for school. This is done through our Counseling Center. Please call Wendy McCrain, Counseling Secretary/Registrar, at 425-823-6750 to make the appointment. If your student currently receives ELL support or is on an IEP or 504 plan, please let us know when you schedule your appointment.

At the time of the appointment, you will need to provide information from your student’s previous school as well as complete the Lake Washington School District registration forms. For your convenience, you are welcome to stop by and pick up our registration forms for completion prior to your appointment. Items required for registration are:

  • Withdrawal grades
  • Transcript (9th grade) or Academic History (7th & 8th grade)
  • Immunization Records
  • IEP or 504 plan, if applicable
  • Current copy of student’s standardized test scores, if possible

During your appointment, you and your student will meet with their counselor to get acquainted, review classes and choose electives. A copy of our Kamiakin Course Catalogue 08-09.pdf is available online if you would like to read about the classes in advance.  At this time, the counselor will also answer any additional questions you may have.

We look forward to meeting you.

Debbie Lanzafame, Counselor
Jaime Maxie, Counselor
Wendy McCrain, Secretary/Registrar
