Hello, my name is Sue Smith and I would like you to know a little about myself. I was born in Flint, Michigan and my family moved to Kirkland when I was seven. After attending Ben Franklin Elementary and Rose Hill Junior High, I graduated from Lake Washington High School. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education/Health. When I first began teaching at Kamiakin, I had the unique experience of being able to teach with some of my junior high teachers. I have taught a variety of subjects here including Physical Education, Health, LIfe Skills, Science, Literacy Safety Net, and Language Arts.
