I am currently teaching my 32nd year of Physical Education and my 28th year at Kamiakin. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. I taught five years in Los Angeles before moving to the Seattle area in 1980. I have been married for 30 years and have two sons, 25 and 26 years old. My youngest son (Florida State) teaches at Inglewood Jr. High and my oldest (UW, Oregon) graduated from law school in May 2008. I have a BA Degree in Physical Education from California State University Northridge with a minor in US History. I have coached Boys Tennis, Girls Tennis and Girls Basketball at Kamiakin for the last 20 years.
I have been a national certified USTA Tennis Official for the last 11 years and have officiated junior tournaments, UW, WSU, OU, NCAA National Championships, and for the last seven years have been the Head Referee for the Washington State Open.
