I graduated from the University of Melbourne with an honors degree in history, specializing in India, China and Japan. I also have a masters degree in teaching. The first 14 years of my teaching career were spent in my home state of Victoria, Australia. I came to Kamiakin in 1988 on an International Teaching Fellowship and have stayed ever since! This is my 20th year at KAJH. I am married to Susan, who teaches Health and Science here at Kamiakin. We have two grown children, James and Patrick who have recently graduated from college. My interests outside school are surfing, hiking, and fly fishing.
