My name is Laurie Chirichigno (Cheer-a-keen-o). I am a Special Education Teacher at Kamiakin Junior High school. This year, I am new to The Lake Washington School District and I am thrilled to be a member of the Kamiakin Community.  My BA in Journalism was completed at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and my K-8 teaching credentials were obtained from National Louis University in Chicago, IL.  I am currently working towards a Masters in Special Education at Seattle University.
