My name is Tammy Beyer. I have been teaching for 27 years, 25 of them at Kamiakin. I am proud to be a member of the Kamiakin community. The diversity Kamiakin offers is something I cherish. The staff and administration at Kamiakin is truly dedicated to helping students become successful members of society.
Physical Education at Kamiakin is committed to providing all students with a variety of experiences to allow them to develop a life-long appreciation for health and fitness. Regardless of physical ability all our students have the opportunity to be successful. We want Physical Education at Kamiakin to be a fun and positive experience for our students.
I grew up in Edmonds, WA and have lived in Redmond for 20 years. I attended Central Washington University and majored in Physical Education and Psychology. I played basketball at Central from 1978-80. I received my masters degree in Creative Arts and Sciences from Lesley University.
I have been married for 25 years to Mark. We have 2 children, Jana (21 years old) and Jeff (19 years old). Both our kids are attending Western Washington University. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, skiing, hiking, reading, yard work and working out.
