I am a 1985 graduate of Saint Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I earned my bachelor's degree in education with an endorsement in Reading. I began teaching in the fall of 1985 in San Antonio as an elementary teacher. My years of experience have included teaching grades k-9.

 In August of 2003, I was hired by the Lake Washington School District as a reading and language arts teacher. My teaching passions now include American History!
