Since Kamiakin Junior High does not have a nurse in the building at all times, it is not possible for the school to provide non-emergency medical care or routine examinations. We will provide first aid on an as needed basis. When a student is ill, they should come to the counseling office. A parent will be called to determine if the student should go home or return to class. We encourage you to keep your student home when he/she is ill.
