The Career Resource Center (CRC) is a place where ALL students can find information on occupations as well as post-secondary options, scholarships and college visits. Students are encouraged to use the information early on and continue throughout their high school experience.  The task of making career and educational choices can often be made less difficult by taking advantage of the resources found here.

Community Spirit Award

Juanita junior Sarah Smith has been named one of Washington State’s top runners-up in the 2011 Prudential Spirit of Community awards.

This award is presented yearly to honor students of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of time to serve their communities and country.

Sarah was chosen from more than 5,000 nominees, based on her 600 plus hours spent over the past two years at Phoenix Rising Sanctuary, a horse rescue organization in Duvall, that invites young girls to build self-confidence while learning to ride. Sarah has helped to care for as many as 60 rescued horses, training and exercising them, and also helps participants learn to ride during summer camps as well as assist with fund-raising activities

For her dedication, she received a bronze medal, award certificate and a letter from President Obama in honor of her contributions.
