  • UW in the High School
Have you ever thought about going to UW? Or even better, have you ever thought about taking UW classes here, while having safety net of Juanita High School around you? There is a great opportunity for students to enroll into University of Washington courses and earn UW credit in their own classrooms with their own teachers.. Students receive recognition for their UW work at most public institutions and many private ones. The program gives students a chance to test their readiness for higher education in a familiar environment. The program also can help strengthen upper-division high school offerings, establishing a collaborative relationship between the UW and high schools. UW Extension College credit is available via English Literature and Composition-Advanced Placement (Senior AP English Course), as well as in Mathematics and World Language (varies by year). Please see JHS course catalogue for details, or simply ask any of your counselors – they will be happy to assist you!
