The Ben Franklin PTA sponsors our Art Docent program to help bring art into our classrooms. We recognize the critical need for art education in our children’s development and have an enthusiastic team of parents volunteer to teach art at Ben Franklin. Our Art Docents work with teachers to lead each class in a hands-on art project, usually once a month. Each year, experienced docents provide art training for new docents. Ben Franklin has a fantastic art/science room full of art supplies and reference materials. We even have our very own kiln for ceramics projects.
