Description:     Reading Wizards is an after school club that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30.  This club is by invitation only as determined by teacher and principal recommendation for students needing extra support in reading.  The academic focus of Reading Wizards is reading strategies, vowel sounds and literacy games.  Each class will start out with a snack time provided by Franklin Elementary.  Every week, the students review a different literacy concept, based on the needs of the group.  For students currently participating in Safety Net, Reading Wizards will supplement this work but not replace Safety Net services.
