Instructions for Online Registration:
(Please read all the way down and follow ALL steps)
1. Go to the LWSD web site (www.lwsd.org) and click on the FOR PARENTS tab (on the right).
2. On the right side of the screen, click on PARENT ACCESS and log in.
3. Click on Family Access (on the right).
4. Click on Courses for 2012-2013 (on the left side under Course Requests)
5. The Available tab (along the top) shows all the classes that can be requested for your student’s grade level.
6. Click the Update Requests tab (along the top).
7. Find the course you want in the window on the left side and click on it to highlight it. Courses are listed alphabetically by course codes (see Resource Handbook for codes). If you make a mistake, you can remove a course by selecting it from the Course(s) Requested column and click Remove Course.
8. Click Add Course (at the bottom of the screen) it will then be added to the Course(s) Requested box on the right. Repeat this for up to 5 classes.
9. Next, click on Alternates tab. Choose up to 3 alternate courses.
10. When you are finished, choose the Logout button in the upper right.
You are registering for the whole year so you will need to select classes each semester with the appropriate number of hours. If the class is to be all year, you must enter it twice with each semester code.
